The “Association of Investigative Journalists”, a non-governmental organization was founded on July 29, 2000. The primary goal of the organization is to assist the development of investigative journalism in Armenia, to strengthen and develop the freedom of speech and democratic principles. Today the organization has 31 members. All the members are acting journalists. They represent 14 media establishments.

Vem is a non-profit organization established in Yerevan in 2000. Vem was formed to disseminate spirituality and help Armenians reconnect with their national and cultural heritage. Among the founders are Armenians with different backgrounds: leaders in the area of religious research and publishing, charity, consulting, as well as prominent Diasporan Armenians, and others.
